FCHA held its annual banquet on March 15th to celebrate a season of development, success, and fun!
The evening started with a social hour and buffet dinner where families could take pictures in front of a giant FCHA banner and participate in both a 50/50 and bucket raffle with donations from dozens of local businesses.

Coaches and board members Scott Nicholas and Jason Edson MC'd the night for us, opening by thanking our sponsors and talking about the success of the last season and celebrating all 10 of our travel teams from 8u-14u.

Said Jason "When we focus on development, when we focus on preparing our players for the future we create success. This season we had three tournament champions and two runners up. We had four teams make the GSL playoffs and all four made the championship game. Of them, two won the GSL championship! And we have here tonight our own Massachusetts State Champion!"
Scott focused on future, stating that we had a record number of players in our Learn to Play and Learn to Skate programs in a tribute to Gagne Wealth Management. Gagne generously sponsor these programs, giving kids access to hockey early. The kids were asked to stand and raise their hands if they started in one our of "Learn to" programs, resulting in almost the entire room on their feet, a testament to our development-first philosophy and Gagne's contribution.

Every team had an opportunity to be celebrated by their coaches, managers were thanked for their continual efforts, and families were recognized as the ones who put this all together for a long season in the cold months. Corey Lovett, our FCHA President, finished the night with a message about how bright our future looks.

After the presentations finished, music started and families were able to mingle with different age groups, relax, and enjoy the evening together.
Thank you to our sponsors, our banquet committee, UMass dining, and our volunteers for making this evening a complete success.
